Conquer Computer Science is a blog and information site created to provide basic computer science information, in an easy-to-read format, supplemented with videos, animations and more. Its target audience is secondary students (high school) who are studying computer science in school, as home study, or who are just curious about computers and how they work! It is also intended to be a resource for Computer Science teachers, with information to help them teach and to use with their students.
John Iglar has been teaching Computer Science for decades, to students from age 3 to 83. He has taught and been trained in the IB, IGCSE, and other international curricula. He has taught programming, robotics, IT, ICT, Computer Science, and more, in some of the finest international schools around the world. He now freelances: tutoring individual students, assisting other CS teachers, consulting with schools, publishing videos, an creating online courses.
